There are ways to stop or slow down gun violence and they do not include making new gun laws. Instead of that, punish the people who are doing the crimes. Enforce the laws we have now. Perform the background checks. And if person breaks the laws with a gun, punish them. Do not punish the general public for the few who break the law.
If you really want to stop gun violence, make the punishment for gun violence harsher. If you really want to stop gun violence, make new laws to punish the guilty, don’t ban guns.
