Letter: Ross has different standard for UNC-CH

It is with genuine amazement that I read University of North Carolina President Tom Ross’ quote when he was speaking to the University Chancellor Search Committee for Elizabeth City State University. According to the article, Ross ran down a list of characteristics that he would like to see in ECSU’s next chancellor. “At the very top of the list is that you find a leader with unwavering integrity,” Ross was quoted as saying. “Chancellors have to make a lot of tough decisions. It’s a 24/7 job, and there are problems that happen almost every day.”
