Letter: We all deserve time to think, feel and love

One source implies that only aristocrats “require time to think, to feel, and to love.” I think that this is un-American. It contradicts our claim that all are created equal. I expect that the mother who holds two jobs makes better use of the time she has “to think, to feel, and to love” than most aristocrats do. An aristocrat, often, was born on third, believing he hit a triple.

One of the biggest lies ever told

is that we are all created equal. Try telling that to those who were born with disabilities and birth defects. The correct assertion is that we were all intended to have equal opportunity for success. Not that we will all necessarily achieve it.
