Radical Chic is a term which was coined by author Tom Wolfe (“The Right Stuff,” “Bonfire of the Vanities”) and which defined a certain type of fealty to politically correct causes of the day — the day being the early ’70s. It’s a term which was much quoted during the turbulent early days of the counterculture movement.
