Pasquotank Sheriff

Bryan Wade Dugan, 25, of the 100 block of Esquire Lane, Elizabeth City, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $400 secured bond was set.

Carlton Griffin Wrighten, 52, of the 1500 block of Herrington Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested Feb. 2 and charged with assault on female. He was confined to Albemarle District Jail for 48 hours.

Sean Michael Burgess, 20, of the 1200 block of Salem Church Road, Elizabeth City, was cited on Feb. 2 for driving while license revoked.

Jessica Lorraine Townsend, 25, of the 300 block of Shawnee Trail, Edenton, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with resisting a public officer. A $2,000 bond was set.

Currituck Sheriff

Richard Glen Cunningham, 40, of the 100 block of Bear St., Moyock, was arrested Feb. 3 and charged with driving while impaired and speeding. A $1,000 unsecured bond was set.

Joseph Michael Williford Sr., 37, of the 700 block of Shawboro Road, Shawboro, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with being a fugitive. A $25,000 secured bond was set.

Jason Allen Powers, 33, of the 100 block of Wedgewood Drive, Moyock, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with second-degree trespass. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Karene Norman Jones, 42, of the 100 block of North Spot Road, Powells Point, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Kirk Lamar Bowe, 26, of the 300 block of Speed St., Elizabeth City, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule II of a controlled substance, possession of schedule II of a controlled substance, and possession of less than one and 1/2 ounce of schedule VI of a controlled substance. A $10,000 secured bond was set.
