Vernice Riddick, 49, of the 800 block of North Road St., Elizabeth City, was served with a criminal summons on Jan. 19 for writing a worthless check.

Khiry Spencer, 20, of the 200 block of Tyler Lane, Edenton, was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with misdemeanor larceny. A $1,000 unsecured bond was set.

Betty Diarra Diene, 21, of the 700 block of Serota Village, Columbia, was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with misdemeanor larceny. A $1,000 unsecured bond was set.

Hope Campbell, 25, of the 100 block of Pams Way, Hertford, was arrested Jan. 21 and charged with driving while impaired and hit and run. A $1,000 secured bond was set. Campbell was also arrested Jan. 21 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Sheila Kathleen Fitzpatrick, 46, of the 100 block of Longview Estates Road, Hertford, was arrested Jan. 21 and charged with aid and abet, common law misdemeanor. A $500 secured bond was set.

James William Bogues Jr., 46, of the 300 block of East Cypress St., Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 21 and charged with assault on female and stalking. He was confined to Albemarle District Jail for 48 hours.

Donald Williams, 36, of the 1300 block of Lowe St., Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 21 and charged with possession of stolen goods. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Jessica Michelle Etheridge, 18, of the 200 block of N.C. Highway 17 South, Camden, was arrested Jan. 22 and charged with shoplifting. A $500 unsecured bond was set.

Yanaula G. Stratikis, 24, of the 100 block of Fourth Ave., Hertford, was arrested Jan. 22 and charged with driving while impaired. A $500 unsecured bond was set.

George Ronald Lancaster III, 22, of the 300 block of Rivers Edge Circle, Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with communicating threats and vandalism of personal property. A $500 unsecured bond was set.

Donnie Ray Lassiter Jr., 51, of the 1700 block of North Road St., Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 17 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $2,500 cash bond was set.

Angel Leeanne Sorrell, 30, of the 100 block of Letitia Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 17 and charged with three counts of failure to appear in court as required. A $1,500 secured bond was set.

Tamika Sheri Wood, 20, of the 1700 block of Weeksville Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 18 and charged with failure to comply with order. A $500 secured bond was set.

Norman Leverne Moore, 52, of the 1500 block of River Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $2,000 cash bond was set.

Morris Clyde Beasley Sr., 49, of the 100 block of Copeland Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with two counts of failure to appear in court as required. A $1,545 cash bond was set.

Calvin McPherson, 54, of the 100 block of Sutton Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $500 secured bond was set.

Justin Wayne Duncan Sr., 28, of the 1100 block of Coppersmith Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested Jan. 20 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Norman Eugene Finley, 27, of the 400 block of Ferry Road, Elizabeth City, was cited on Jan. 20 for possession of less than one and 1/2 ounces of schedule VI of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rufus Dean Scott, 35, of the 1000 block of Commissary Road, Elizabeth City, was served with a criminal summons on Jan. 20 for simple assault and second degree trespass.

Amber Gale Zeigler, 34, of the Cherry Road Estates, Elizabeth City, was cited on Jan. 22 for driving while license is revoked.

Erin Melissa Flood, 28, of the 200 block of Woodland Church, Hertford, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with civil contempt of court, child support. A $900 cash bond was set.

Shenettia Denice Freeman, 42, of the 100 block of Bens Bonanza, Barco, was arrested Jan. 20 and charged with possession of schedule II of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while impaired. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Vivian Ann Nelson, 48, of the 8800 block of Leisure Lane, Chesterfield. Va., was arrested Jan. 20 and charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver a counterfeit controlled substance, possession of less than one and 1/2 ounces of schedule VI of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A $1,000 secured bond was set.

Clarence Lee Holloway, 28, of the 600 block of Cottonwood Drive, Petersburg, Va., was arrested Jan. 20 and charged with maintaining a place for the possession of a controlled substance and possession of less than one and 1/2 ounces of schedule VI of a controlled substance.
