Pasquotank Sheriff’s

Anthony Tyrell Lynn, 34, of the 1400 block of Millpond Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested March 7 and charged with failure to return rented property. A $400 secured bond was set.

Carlton Carey Mcdonald, 33, of the 800 block of Beech St., Elizabeth City, was arrested March 7 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $1,500 cash bond was set.

Duprey Vadon Harris, 32, of the 1600 block of Weeksville Road, Elizabeth City, was arrested March 7 and charged with felony larceny and fraud, obtaining property by false pretenses. A $5,000 secured bond was set.

Whitney Rainer Cross, 25, of the 2400 block of Kimberly Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested March 8 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $500 secured bond was set.

Darrell Antonio Debnam, 28, of the 500 block of Commerce Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested March 11 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. Two bills of indictment were also served on him. A $75,000 secured bond was set and he was turned over to the custody of the Bertie County correctional facility.

Shelton Lamar Sapp, 30, of the 500 block of Commerce Drive, Elizabeth City, was arrested March 11 on a true bill of indictment for assault with a deadly weapon on a government official. A $50,000 secured bond was set. He is being confined at Pasquotank Correctional Institution.

William Edward Leary Jr., 42, of the 700 block of Rocky Hock Creek Road, Edenton, was arrested March 12 and charged with driving while license revoked. No bond was set.

Norman Lanier Barclift Jr., 52, of the 500 block of East Broad St., Elizabeth City, was arrested March 12 and charged with two counts of failure to appear in court as required, one in Edgecombe County, the other in Camden County. He was confined in lieu of a $1,500 secured bond.
