Edenton Coach Mattera.

Coach Mattera first and foremost was a good person and really cared about his kids and did everything in his power to get the kids to understand the important of during good in school if you want to get a free education that would save your family a financial responsibility down the road. AS far as discipline he was exactly what the players needed at the time to get the program back where it should be. Now the next coach must continue what coach Mattera builted and don't let up on the kids as far as discipline is concerned and really stress the important of education and continue to get the entire community and parents envolved with the team.Edenton has good kids and players the banter is being passed the players know what it take to stay on top and i think they will accept that challenge and do well this season and the following season to come because Coach Mattera builted the hard work attitude in them and they will continue to represent the school, conference, and themselve very well. The foundation has been laided. Good luck coach Mattera in Thomasville and hopefully one day Thomasville and Edenton meet in the state championship game.
