Justin Hill, who led Currituck to a share of its first conference title since 1995, has been voted the Northeastern Coastal Conference Coach of the Year in baseball by his NCC peers.

The Knights tied for the regular-season crown with First Flight, advanced to the second round of the 3A state tournament and finished with an 18-6 record.

Player of the Year Brandon Warren of Hertford, a senior pitcher and infielder, headed up the All-Conference team.

Four Currituck players made the All-NCC squad: Senior pitcher/shortstop Josh Vales, senior infielder Nick Gorza, junior outfielder Juwan Harvey and senior infielder Kody McNeal.

Northeastern and Edenton each placed two players on the team and Pasquotank one.

Representing Northeastern were senior second baseman Miles Cooper and senior pitcher Frankie Cudequest.

Edenton players were senior pitcher/first baseman Jordan Harrell and senior catcher Tyler Reinhold.

Senior outfielder/pitcher Robert Velicky was the Pasquotank representative.

Rounding out the team were junior outfielder Wes Eure, junior pitcher/infielder Chance Ducharme, senior first baseman/pitcher Gerald Cole and senior infielder/pitcher Larry Rust of First Flight and senior infielder/pitcher Joseph Eure of Bertie.
