Families can delight in Charles Dickens’ classic story of a wretched, old geezer named Ebenezer Scrooge, who values money more than anything else. To learn the error of his ways, he’s visited by his ghostly partner, Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
The cast is filled with Edenton talent including Dr. Alex Kehayes as Scrooge, Larry McLaughlin and Will Raucci as the narrators and more including Carole Sykes who is back to sing “O Come Emmanuel” as she makes Scrooge face his dreadful future. Taylor Overton and Torin Cottrell will make their debuts as Tiny Tim. Vocalists Alexandria Warden, Evette Roberson, Alana Houston, Michele Renaldi and Dr. Walter Swan, all of Elizabeth City, will provide extraordinary solo voices to the show.
“This year’s show has some great actors and spectacular voices!” producer Laurie Edwards said. “There’s singing, dancing and lots of merriment as Scrooge finds his way towards a happier life, just in time for Christmas!”
