RALEIGH – North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey has urged North Carolinians to use an extra measure of caution, especially when using portable heaters during the winter season.
Area residents should beware of callers trying to sell deeply discounted subscriptions to The Daily Advance and other Adams Publishing Group-ENC publications, which could include the Bertie Ledger-Advance, in the region.
