CAMDEN — The Camden County High School boys’ basketball team defeated Pasquotank County 83-46 Tuesday night in a non-conference game at Camden County High School.

Camden (2-0) was led offensively by Tim Aydlett who scored 29 points with five rebounds and three steals.

Carlton Harrell followed with 17 points, five rebounds, two blocks and a steal, while Bradley Harrell posted 11 points, six rebounds and two assists.

Andre Barnett added seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and seven points in the win.

Pasquotank (0-2) returns to action Tuesday at home against Ocracoke.

Perquimans 72, Columbia 56: The Pirates (2-0) secured the win at Columbia High School Tuesday night.

EJ Gatling paced Perquimans with 20 points, A’Marion Hunter followed with 17, Kesian Elliott scored 10, while Stefon Reid posted 8 points in the win.

Perquimans returns to the court Tuesday against visiting Bear Grass Charter, while Columbia (2-2) faces South Creek Dec. 5.
